Prototype

Prototypes  and Pilot runs... who would not want them.. these are some of the prototypes I have been lucky to get hold of, and the Pilot runs are thanks to zippo click...

Pilot runs: when zippo decides to try out a new design they make about 10-1000 pieces to see the cost viablity etc, these are kept in their personal collection sometimes a few are given to Members of ZIppo Click..

  • prototype - Harley davidson - only 4 known

  • Prototype- this was given to me By Mr. George B Duke -Chairman and owner of Zippo  also the grand son of Mr.  George G. Blaisdell the founder of Zippo

  • Prototype - Incomplete-this would have been a Trick zippo

  • Leather Wrapped-This luxurious leather-wrapped Zippo lighter was part of a pilot run completed in August 2004

    1000 were made and  647were offered to Click memebers this is one of them


  • Pilot Run of IRIS PVD this is 1 of the 993 offered by zippo

  • Prototype 

    This is a zippo made by Pallon Daruwalla Bangalore's best known photographer, he made 50 of these lighters with his signature to celebrate 25 years in photogrpahy .. This was the Prototype, thanks  Pallon.
